We design sweaters, knits and wovens in New York for the department-store, specialty and off-price floors, and we make them with partner factories across China, Vietnam and Cambodia. If you make apparel well and want a long-term partner, we would like to hear from you.

What we make

The line we produce.

    Knitwear

    Sweaters and knit tops, from fine gauge to chunky, on flat knitting machines. It is where we began.

    Cut-and-sew knits

    Tees, tops, dresses and sets in jersey, rib and French terry.

What we look for

What makes a good partner.

Four things matter more to us than anything else on the form.

    Audited, responsible production

    Our partner factories are audited under amfori BSCI, WRAP and SCAN. Tell us which audits and certifications you hold today; if you are working toward one, say so.

  2. 02

    A realistic minimum

    Tell us the minimum you can truly run per style and per color. We plan programs around honest numbers, not the best case.

  3. 03

    Fast, accurate sampling

    Our buyers move quickly, so samples need to arrive on time and to spec. Proto, fit and pre-production samples are where a partnership starts.

  4. 04

    Clear communication

    A named contact who answers, in English or through a colleague who does, with an update before a problem becomes a delay.

    Our sourcing team reads every application and replies when there is a fit, usually with a few questions.

    Sample trial

    We send a tech pack and you make a sample, so both sides see how we work together.

    First order

    When the sample passes, we place a first order and grow the program from there.
